recent movies
I've seen 3 in the past month or so and have been meaning to post, but today finally got me motivated.
First, I went to see The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D. That was really enjoyable again. I liked it the first time, and in 3D it was fun. Plus the music in that movie is just awesome.

I read that the director they had (who filled when Chris Weitz quit, but then left when Chris Weitz came back) had opted to CUT OUT the battle of Iorek Byrnison against the evil bear who usurped his throne. Man, that was a wonderful and dramatic point in the movie, I thought. And taken almost exactly from the way the book described it.
BTW, I'm so zany that I misspell zainybrain on purpose...
