Austin trip

recent movies
I've seen 3 in the past month or so and have been meaning to post, but today finally got me motivated.
First, I went to see The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D. That was really enjoyable again. I liked it the first time, and in 3D it was fun. Plus the music in that movie is just awesome.

Just heard in email that the Alamo Drafthouse is having a micro-roadshow feast for Tampopo which is one of my favorite movies. Too bad I'm not going to be in Austin this weekend or be able to get there, but I'm already committed to BGG.Con, which at least means I should be having fun. movies3D Harry Potter

John and I tried to go to see Transformers last Saturday night at the local-to-the-NASA-area dinner cinema called Star Cinema Grill. I had gone up to the west side of town for gaming with the Houston Gamers group and on the way I picked up tickets since they don't have them for sale online yet at that theater.
