April Goals
So here are my writing and podcasting goals for this month:
- Finish writing "Three Guins"
- Finish writing and recording 1st issue/episode/chapter of "Pants on the Ground" serial.
- Start writing "Eddy, the Macabre Explorer"
- Finish production and release "Troubled Child"
- Record and release an OTR episode.

Adapting a 12-year old twitfic story
So I haven't being writing on here as much as I had intended. Today, I submitted a story to the latest Podcastle flash fiction contest. Fifty One Groundhogs
Busy day at work today. I took yesterday off for my birthday so there was some catching up to do. I enjoyed my day off. I did not get as much writing done as I thought I would. I'm Back, Baby!
One of my 2021 goals is to update LiveJournal almost daily. I want to get back in the habit of updates here, mostly in reagrds to progress in my writing and podcasting. I will probably pin this to the top of the blog and keep it updated. (Is that possible on LiveJournal?) See my goals below.

Day 10 - The Black Cat (a live-written story)
So I've decided some things that I haven't established up until now. First of all, Lee's last name is now Huelet. I might also want to set this so that Lee grew up in the '70's, but we'll see about that. Day 9 - The Black Cat (a live-written story)
No, I haven't quit this live-writing project. I've just been busy. But I have been thinking a lot about this story quite a bit and developing it in my mind, so that is a good thing. I know why I don't write very much. Well, first of, I'm lazy. But besides that, I'm slow. It takes me forever just to write a few paragraphs. Not always, but often. The major factor I think, like I said earlier, is that I can't turn off the editor. I should just be writing and writing freely, not worried about good sentence structure, or ( Read more... ) -

So I missed Sunday. I didn't write much yesterday, but below is what I did write. We'll see how today goes.

Months passed. Life didn't stop just because Lee killed a cat, or because he was having bad dreams. Jen got a job working the front office for a pediatrician.

Day 6 - The Black Cat (a daily live-written story)
So in order to get into the feel of the story again, I read through what I had written so far. Then I probably broke some kind of rule associated with live blogging a story. I started to edit. Some tweaking a word or phrase here, adding some sentances there. I tightened up a few things to make it more concise. I seem to always do this editting ( Read more... )
