Day 6 - The Black Cat (a daily live-written story)

So in order to get into the feel of the story again, I read through what I had written so far.  Then I probably broke some kind of rule associated with live blogging a story.  I started to edit.  Some tweaking a word or phrase here, adding some sentances there.  I tightened up a few things to make it more concise.  I seem to always do this editting ( Read more... )

You can get a dozen hard and fast rules from a dozen writers. If it kills your momentum to go back and edit, then it's bad (for you). But if it encourages you, or you simply need to go back and see what you've written so far to get you back in the story . . . then by all means do so.

Sure, there's some typos here and there, but I would never publish anything if I was worried someone would stumble across a mistake or misspelling (not that I publish a great deal, but you know what I mean).
