Does anyone know about how long it would take me to drive from Columbus, Ohio to St. Paul Minnesota? Or if I flew to St. Paul, what would be the best way to get to Mankato (about two hours away)? thistlerose, you might be the only one I know who knows the area at all

I just Google Mapped it, and it's about 13 hours from Columbus to St Paul by car.

I would fly.

I'm not sure how to get to Mankato from St Paul. If it's a university town, I bet plenty of Greyhounds, and possibly Amtrak stop there. But I'd rent a car, because parts of southern MN are just lovely, especially around the prairie, and it would be nice stop and get out whenever you feel like it. :)

as you know its about two hours from minney, the airfaire typically runs into the 300.00 range and a rental care around 150-160 depending on the length of time. If you would like send your information to kender and dates and I can see if I can get it discounted for you from my work. ttyl

I've done more research since posting this, and it looks like it'll be too expensive. I can't afford to fly and I don't have the time to drive, so I think I'll have to let this one go. Thanks for offering help, though.
