using a dowel, shrink tubing, and a couple of paper clips. Sure, it would be easier to just replace the ground fault outlet and use a nightlight but hey...

Originally, I wrapped the paper clip around the dowel then put the shrink tube over it. Even with the heat shrink, the tension of pulling the dowel popped it out. I drilled a hole through the dowel and ran the paper clip through that, which is what you see in the picture. It's been working fine.
