I started reading this before I realised it was you - I didn't recognise the icon and just read the summary and it was a few lines before I saw your username *Lol*

What can I not love about this? Renji wearing his seme!pants is always a good thing (of course!) I loved the flow and rhythm of it as well, and was descriptive without being bogged down by words (something I have real problems with ¬_¬)

I think one of my favourite lines was "He can ignore the scowl, considering it seems to be a permanent part of Ichigo's face"

I always imagine that Ichigo is scowling. Like, always yo. I used to date a guy like that who never smiled. everyone thought he was a dickwad ...but that was the way Nick was. I learned to ignore it, and focus on the other characteristics of the man.

What can I not love about this?

I used to get accused of being "stand-offish" by people when I first met them, cos they thought I was being all cold and aloof by not talking to them. In fact, I was painfully shy ¬_¬ Remember - if you assume you make an ass out of u and me! *runs away* :-D

This was so sweet without being sappy - THAT is not an easy thing to express so fantastic job, woman!
And every time you write RenIchi, I think your style for them gets better and better where you shouldn't ever question that they aren't "your thing," you know what I mean? You write them brilliantly.
It felt great just reading something that was bright and light and sexy and lovely. I'm still feeling torn up about RenIchi, but this definitely helped mend the wounds.
I'm always so thrilled you find inspiration for them even during your busiest times.

I think I've finally hit a point where I feel like I'm in their world -- there's a few challenges and snags still (I wouldn't write a chessboard story for these two, for example -- unless I could count on the resolution to be strong for them, and you know how much I love the chessboard)

...but I like it. It's a fun challenge. I was on the bus and this popped into my head and I knew it needed to be fleshed out.

I do wish I had more time -- but right now, I know it would be bad to put in the time needed to update all of my fics. I have to be selfish in order to take care of what's important to me. But here and there, I'll still try to publish something.

I know! I needed a smut fix... and I started writing the RenIchi before I started my AiGin one-shot -- and I looked at the two drafts today and was like 'oh boy, look which one I'm going to pick!'

I also notice the RenIchi stores on ffnet update fast and furiously, and I like seeing my name in the mix like YEAH BITCHES I'SE STILL HYAH YO!

Oh yeah, I think confidence is the hottest thing in the writer. Now, I tend to drive past confidence and speed headfirst into 'cocky bitch', but it's warm there and they have free margaritas! and shoes. I'm all in like a poker game!

Yeah -- I mean, sometimes I have a thing for mush...but most of the time...little sweet, little spicy, with the right amount of smut.

there has to be smut. i can't even see myself writing gen...dunno why. maybe one day. :)

I find oneshots challenging because I'm forced to bring the reader to a resolution right then, right there. it's a good lesson.
