That's a really great idea--I may have to steal it! *g* Do you know if there's a cap on how many tags a single entry can have? Hmm....

LJ's FAQ section on tags doesn't mention anything about a cap, so I'm working on the assumption there isn't one.

Not at all doomed, you have made a nice index for those items.

And now I see that it will stay on top, at least until 2010. Very nice. :)

It's a nifty trick, isn't it?

And having bought a permanent account recently, I figure it's a pretty good chance that I'll stick around on LJ till 2010. We'll just have to see. :-)

A little experimenting found that 2037 is the highest number that LJ will allow for the year. (Not clear why 2037 is allowed and 2038 forbidden, but that's the way it is.)

So now I have a friends only entry in my journal dated June 20, 2037. At my age, such a date is presumptuous. :)

Question. Do you have the original pic for your "Pervy Commodore Fancier" Gillette icon? Galadhir showed it to me and it's a great shot, so I'd love the original if you still have it.

Hmm... photobucket seems to have resized it, the jerks. If you want, give me your e-mail address and I'll send you the larger version.

I have to say that as a proud memories-feature user, I do feel a bit of contempt for tag-users); however, this does make your journal more conveniant. Have you added tags to all of your recent posts?

I'm bi -- I use memories *and* tags. :-)

I've been putting tags on all recent posts that seem as if they might be interesting enough for either me or anyone else to want to look up again at a later date.

Now this is cool!! Do you have to have a paid account to use this function?

I don't think you need a paid account, but you do need to have your journal set to an S2 style.
