New profile over on NaNoWriMo says mariapatenaude was a 2004, 2005, and 2006 participant and a 2004 winner. I find it very funny that the "joined" date is 2007. It's sort of unfair that people can still put all those other years in like a cool breeze, whether they did them or not.

I only seem to really post to this writing journal around NaNoWriMo time. I guess because it's more fun to write than to write about writing.

About NaNo, I somehow managed to write 30,000 in the past two weeks in spite of the wreck my arm still is. If I can get the other 20,000 down within the first two weeks of October, I'll submit it for my word ( Read more... )

The laptop is working out great! It's really amazing to have my own computer and to be able to work wherever I please. (Generally I do my best writing in bed, lol.)
