Spent yesterday in a "who's on first" routine with dealer, mechanics, towing company, and roadside assistance. Mechanics at the dealer aren't sure what's wrong from the description, but are sure it's a very strange and uncommon problem. Cried from frustration twice. AT WORK. (Houston, we have hit bottom.) After considering it for a year, I finally up and purchased my own scooter. It's a Buddy 125, in a color not on the website--more of a eggnog/vanilla color, a pearlized lemon ice, if you will.
