I NEED MONEY
Ok, totally last-minute and a shameless plea, but I'm doing the Walk & Roll for the American Cancer Society with my roller derby league on Sunday, and I need to raise some funds.
If you're up for donating a measly 10 bucks to help researchers find a cure/stopgap for cancer, here's your chance!
My fundraising page isn't pretty or actually engaging, but it does list the important details.
I figure that we all know somebody affected by cancer these days, either the benign or malignant variety, and this is a good way to commemorate them.
Personally, this is for my paternal grandma and mom, and 3 friends who died too early to truly make their mark on the world.
