What a very pleasant weekend. I got to see several friends, spend time with my husband and son together and individually, clean some house, sew, knit, and tell pallasathene82 that she is ready to get her driver's license

The hard part about a 10 gore dress is that if you are off by just 1/8" on your SA (say you sew it at 1/2" when you cut 5/8") you have now added almost 3" around. so it is easy to compound the problem..

thanks, I hoped it was something like that. Good thing it's the pattern-piece dress and I only sewed it with basting-stitches and no reverse (hard to remember not to do that sometimes), so it's easy enough to take apart (or just re-sew it with a bigger SA).
