Or maybe they *have* all mentioned it and I've just been living under a rock...

I'm kind of surprised that none of the big Doctor Who speculation/clue-hunting posts I've seen have mentioned this:

Spoilers only for Eleventh Hour and the flashback to Eleventh Hour shown in Cold Blood )

random, who, look a post

Wow, you're right. And I can't see a reason for reshooting it like they did with Donna's first scene, so my mind is whirling right now.

I did notice that, but I kind of thought they accidentally used the wrong clip or something. They do a lot of takes of every scene, and sometimes they switch up the dialogue a bit to see what works the best. Or maybe, you know, it could be Steven Moffat doing something totally crazy. Because he does that.

Your icon is amazing.

I can't imagine it's anything other than a deliberate choice to use a different take -- like with the messed up dates on Rory's hospital badge in the first episode, I can't believe something like that could just be a production/editing foul-up. Plus, how many times has the Doctor said "time can be rewritten" this series? I think we're looking at it happening.

Here, have a larger version of the gif. :D

Hmm, true. I didn't know about the messed-up dates. Which ones did you mean?

The gif is obscene. I love it. :D

Oh yeah, I caught that one, too.

And HA. It's dawn at 1:14 AM right here. The sun hasn't even gone *down* in Lapland. I'll never get used to this, even though I've lived here all my life!

Maaaaaan. I'd love to visit somewhere where the sun doesn't go down at high summer, but I don't think I could handle it long term. Not even considering what it's got to be like in the winter.

Bloody miserable:). I had an Australian friend over once and he went nuts and wandered around town at 4AM because it was as bright as midday and he couldn't sleep. Poor thing was totally weirded out.

Oh man I did not notice this. If it turns out to actually be something instead of just remixing shots? I will be so impressed. Finally, a reason for all the flashbacks!

Moffat's got, like, 800 different things that've got to get wrapped up in the finale. Can he do it?
