Today, Micah Owings dominates the Braves with both his arm and his bat. Last night, B.Webb pitches his third straight shutout, bringing his scoreless innings streak to 42 games. It's just flat out unbelievable what he's been able to do. He's just flat out dominating EVERYBODY...I'm not even touching the fact that Webb is within two shutouts of  surpassing Orel Hershiser's record 59 game scoreless innings streak.

Well, the trade deadline came and went, and the D-Backs didn't get anything. Not totally surprising considering how poor the trade market was this year, the only player worth going after was Mark Teixeira, and he was traded to the Braves.
