Rockies pull off the impossible, advance to World Series

Yeah, that article pretty much summed up how I feel about it. To call the Rockies 'hot' would be a VAST understatement....I'm still shaking my head at the whole thing.

I don't think that was overstating it one bit. This is most definitely the biggest upset in college football history.

Think about it for a second....Appalachian State, a I-AA team, beats #5 ranked Michigan. I mean, how often does that happen?

Last night, B.Webb pitches his third straight shutout, bringing his scoreless innings streak to 42 games. It's just flat out unbelievable what he's been able to do. He's just flat out dominating EVERYBODY...I'm not even touching the fact that Webb is within two shutouts of  surpassing Orel Hershiser's record 59 game scoreless innings streak.

As anyone NOT living under a rock knows by now, Barry Bonds crushes his 756th home run to the deepest part of the park, passing Hank Aaron as baseball's all-time HR king. I was in my room working on my laptop, with the radio turned to the D-Backs game when it happened. I think they cut into the game and everything. Which was totally okay with me ( Read more... )
