I tried reading The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory. Tried is the key word.
Mary (the main character) was dimwitted, George (the brother) a not-so-subtle pervert, Anne (the sister) a viper most foul, Henry (the king) a tantruming fool, and so forth.
Ms. Gregory disregarded a lot of historical details, as well as a number of other facts.
