california could also turn into Portland, which I'm marginally more excited about, just because I've actually been there, and may already have a job lined up.

Portland has been one of my favorite places to live. Eugene is also nice, but it all depends on what you're looking for.

I've been to Eugene, although I didn't see much of it besides a couple of barns full of stoned hippies. Good times though. I spent about a week in Sisters. Not much to speak of, but pretty interesting for a tourist town.

Awesome!

I hope this works out for you. Anything is better than Alaska! At least in my opinion.

Portland is actually one of the places Amanda and I have been talking about moving to once we're officially hitched. :) Yay!

Heh, yeah, any place IS better than Anchorage. Well... maybe not chicago, or new york, or anywhere south of kentucky, but most places.

Man... if you guys moved to portland, that would be AWESOME! I would cry for happiness.

*thinks about happy tears*

Also... being near marginally big cities would mean some form of club where I could go dancing again. Yay dancing!

Excellent. I never use any of those anymore. Well... replace "never" with "hardly ever," I suppose. Nonetheless, it is a goodness.
