So, I've decided to renew my lease for another year.  I'd really like to move into Portland proper right now, but I'll never be able to come up with the extra money for deposits and such, not until like december, and I have to spend THAT extra cash on going home to see the family... so... yeah, next year.  And who knows where that'll see me.

I GOT IT!!!!!  I GOT THE APARTMENT!!!

*happy dances until she falls over*

OMG they didn't even need to talk to my boss - Drew called me today and told me that I'd been approved!!!  WOOOOOO!!!!

I'm going over tomorrow to fill out the paperwork and give them my checks.

Brain hurt.

I went to six places yesterday, and called about twenty more, but without further luck.

Three of those that I saw were nasty.

One was AWESOME PERFECT, but they jacked the price up and extra fifty bucks, and I couldn't justify it.  Plus the landlord guy was kinda creepy.

SO FRUSTRATING!!!

I'm supposed to go to a five pm appointment to see an apartment.

Now... if the appointment is at five, then that means if all goes well, and I do a lot of looking and question asking, we might be there until five thirty.  HOWEVER, the woman on phone said "if you're more than one minute late, she won't wait for you."

This amuses me.

If I get it, I will have to put a big hot picture of Miss Martha Jones in my window.

Had a good moment in the office at home yesterday.  Scott was sitting at his computer, and I was in there talking to him about something mundane and car related.  He turned to look at me, sitting slumped on the stool next to him.  He gave me the once-over, said "stand up."  When I did he said "holy crap, anna, do you have any idea how much weight ( Read more... )

Day four, down the hatch.  I forgot to drink my senna tea last night, but it was much too late for it by the time I remembered.  I was up until... oh god... almost one?  WHY???  *grumbles*
