eh?

So, I've decided to renew my lease for another year.  I'd really like to move into Portland proper right now, but I'll never be able to come up with the extra money for deposits and such, not until like december, and I have to spend THAT extra cash on going home to see the family... so... yeah, next year.  And who knows where that'll see me.

When my lease renewal form comes with a letter saying "Please let us know if you need something completed in your apartment... a mini-upgrade?  A carplet clean?"... what exactly does that mean? I can just request something be upgraded?

That seems weird.

Like, yeah, I'd love a carpet cleaning, but not in the studio.  I'd love for you to paint my walls something other than white, or let me do it and NOT make me repaint it when I move out.  (I promise to do a really nice professional-type job, w/ faux marbling or something in the bathroom, just on one accent wall!)

I'd like for you to paint my porch!  (Or I'll do it if you lend me the tools and paint!)  It's starting to look really bad, especially the part where you put tape over the seems of the patch-job (because off water rot), which you then painted.  Ew.

Also, I'd really like it if you finally replace my cutting board.  All it takes is a piece of 10 3/4 inch x 23 inch x 3/4 inch board, something hard.  Hell, I'll even go to home depot and buy it myself if you reimburse me for all four-to-eight dollars that I spend on that piece.  I'll keep the rest of the board and make really noisy art out of it!

And that's how I feel about that.

Oh.  Also.  I'd just like to say, for all the kids who watched the same cartoons on nickelodeon as I did...

"Laundry day is a very dangerous day."
And back to naughty-writing.  Almost there.  Man, I almost kinda MISSED editing work.
