Title: Life goes on as it never ends Characters: Hisoka, open to visitors Location: ICU Rating: PG-13 tops Summary: Hisoka expects lectures and slaps for what he tried to do. Day/Time: 71, throughout the day
Yuuko was carrying the stuffed animals that Hisoka owned. Except for the teddy bear. It had been gone by the time she arrived. She could only assume Zack had it, since he had given it to Hisoka.
Yuuko...was upset. So upset that no one could read her expression or body language. It was cold and guarded against any 'intruders.' She was only like this when she was in a serious state and this was serious.
Still, she was still allowed to enter Hisoka's room. She walked over, setting down the tiger and the Mokona beside him before taking a seat beside his bed, still silent.
He didn't smile when he saw Yuuko. Of all the people mad at him right now, he knew she had to be at the top of the list. Hisoka looked down and swallowed loudly, nervously. After taking a few deep breaths, he hugged the Mokona against his chest.
"...yes." Yuuko said, her voice indifferent. "I'm very angry. And upset." She said in that same tone. She looked at Hisoka and quickly stood up and wrapped her arms around him. "...and scared."
He whimpered slightly when she touched him and pulled away. It hadn't hurt him physically, but his eyes still watered. "I didn't want to hurt you. Figured it would be easier for you without me around anymore," Hisoka whispered, voice shaky.
He'd expected certain people to come see him. The blond man who stepped in right now was not one of them. It took the half-asleep Hisoka a moment to realize who he was, and it made the teen faintly smile. At least this person probably wouldn't try to figure out why he wanted to die or talk about protecting him.
"Hi. You're...Alfred, right?" Hisoka sounded as groggy as he felt.
He lightly shook Alfred's hand and pointed at the chair next to his bed. "Yeah. I wasn't expecting you to come by...figured the only people who cared would be the ones mad at me." Hisoka felt awkward, not sure what there was to say.
It was several hours after Yuuko had spoken with Hisoka. She had seen Yuuko looked a lot more...well, happy isn't the word quite yet, but she was definitely in a better mood. When Dani asked about visiting Hisoka, Yuuko said to give him a chance to rest. Which she did.
But now she wanted to talk to the boy too. From what she heard of Yuuko's fuming before, maybe she could help the boy? And if it was someone Yuuko trusted so much, they were trust worthy? At least, Dani hoped so.
She walked into the ICU, taking a look around. "So this is what it looks like."
He'd been rudely woken up from his nap by a nurse coming in to check on his vitals. Hisoka still scowled even though that nurse was now out of his room. It would be hard to get back to sleep now.
"It's nothing special. Pretty boring, even compared to the other rooms," the teen said with a sigh.
"I guess. Haven't been in enough of them to say." He closed his eyes tightly when thinking about other hospitals triggered a connection to Muraki, the man's face flashing in his mind for several seconds.
