Congrats on the job! \(^∇^)/

At this rate, it's only a matter of time before we get a panel of fucking Hibari making a Basil face
Oh goodness, please yes AMANO MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

The whole bit with Iemitsu makes me happy because YAY mafia people doing mafia things, but I'm also all nooooooo, Iemitsu whyyyyyyy. What would your lovely and adoring wife say?????

It seems that in fact, all the rings, not just the Vongola rings, love Tsuna the best.Mafia ring uses power-up ( ... )

Thank you! It's not the best job I've ever had, but it's not the worst, either, and with the holidays coming up I really needed one, so.

HIBARI BASIL FACE. SERIOUSLY. ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAAAAAS.

And much as it would be interesting if what Julie/D. told Enma actually turned out to be true, I can't bring myself to believe for a second that Iemitsu actually did kill Enma's folks, given that this series is what it is. Iemitsu is a total badass and the Vongola do have a pretty bloodied history post Primo-era, but still. It's Amano. Who gave us a Future Arc ending where EVERY SINGLE PERSON WAS REVIVED SOMEHOW BY MAGIC. There's just no way. I'm not even sure I'd believe it if we actually saw a flashback; it just seems that unreal to me.

Sawada Tsunayoshi uses Main Character Status. It's super effective.

IT REALLY IS.

And man, I hear you on wanting to bake Enma a cake and cookies and cuddle him and so forth. I'm also a huge sucker for sibling bonds (maybe because I'm pretty tight with my own siblings), and man, I just feel so bad for ( ... )

In the Future Arc, Chrome was able to make her own organ illusions thanks to the power of the Mist Ring. But didn't her ring get smashed with the rest during the Inheritance Ceremony? And she hasn't had the chance to get her shiny, new Vongola Gear either so she might not have the power to take care of herself right now.

P.S. If Chrome's Vongola Gear is not a kick-ass new eye-patch, I will be extremely disappointed.

Heh, thanks. I'm starting to get used to it now so it's not as jarringly WHOA WHERE THE HELL DID THE DAY GO?? as it was at first. XD Hopefully I'll figure out how to make more effecient use of that free time than I currently am ( ... )

This adds up to Tsuna's realism as a character-and as a 15 year old boy-though. I'll go further: a 15-year-old-CONTEMPORARY-boy. The comparison with Giotto and Cozart, who were the same age, is amazing. They were dreamers. They actually wanted to change things. I think Tsuna is son of our times. Amano-sensei portrayed him VERY realistically. It's almost scary.I have always identified with Tsuna much more than with other shounen protagonists for exactly this reason. He actually wants to take the easy way out--the idea of that much power and responsibility terrifies the living daylights out of him. Instead of "I WANT TO GO OUT AND CHANGE THE WORLD!", he's just like, "I wish the world would leave me and my loved ones alone so that we could mind our own business without any more bad things happening to us!" And the only reason he keeps on getting dragged into these adventures is because it doesn't. But he's very reluctant about it ( ... )

...wait, didn't half of us guess that he was Spade already? I mean, 'oh my gosh he's like Mukuro-sama but not!'

And 'zomg the Vongola/Shimon family was betrayed!'

Yeah, we did; I actually was kind of being sarcastic about the whole OOH HOW SHOCKING them, l-lol... I SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLEARER ABOUT THAT I GUESS? Ah, sorry. XD

But yeah, seriously, from the discussions I'd had, I was under the impression that a lot of people had basically accepted this twist as fact weeks ago and were already operating under the assumption that Spade was in fact the brains behind Operation Make Tsuna And Enma's Lives Miserable Forever. At least the whole fandom is all on the same page now, I guess.

Now if Amano would kindly oblige us with an update on where the fuck Byakuran and Yamamoto fit into all of this, that would be progress.

XD NO NO I FIGURED OUT THE SARCASM I just... was failing at humor. Or coherency.

I'd like to state that two weeks ago was Shouichi's birthday and NO BYAKURAN WAS HAD and this is a travesty. Maybe she'll unveil Byakuran's birthday as being Jan 1st and we'll have something in a few weeks.

OHHHH, so it was I who misread! That makes more sense. XDD /derp

AND I FORGOT SHOUICHI'S BIRTHDAY? ACTUALLY I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE HAD A BIRTHDAY? I NEED TO RECTIFY THIS, I SHOULD WRITE SOME STUPID FIC OR SOMETHING. Especially since Amano did nothing on her part to honor him with the one present he never asked for and would probably adamantly refuse but we all know he secretly really wants. YOU MISS YOUR BUDDY, SHOU-CHAN. ADMIT IT. YOU DO.

...though actually. According to Reborn wiki, Byakuran's birthday is October 28th. Which means I share the same birthday as Byakuran. Which means that now my mind actually is blown. XDDD

THANK YOU FOR WISHING ME A HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BB!♥♥♥

ALSO: JULIE (DAEMON SPADE) IS A FUCKING CREEP AND I KINDA HATE HIM VERY MUCH. I ALSO REALLY DISLIKE THE FACT THAT AMANO HAS APPARENTLY FORGOTTEN THAT CHROME CAN CREATE HER OWN ORGANS, SHE DID THAT IN THE FUTURE, AND DUDE, SHE DID SLEEP AT TIMES SO BEING UNCONCIOUS IS NOT A GOOD EXCUSE, AMANO!

Oh Enma, you and your emo rants. Though, in this case, it's very much justified. Poor little creepy-eye.

♥ ♥ I hope you had a good time! (oh man, and that reminds me I saw that you had posted an update on your time in Okinawa a couple weeks ago and I had started to read it but then something sidetracked me and I never got back to it... and now I feel bad, I gotta go back and finish that. XD)

And +1 to everything you said about Spade and Chrome. I mean, at least when Byakuran was running around being an obnoxious smiley creeper villain, he had the excuse of being completely insane. Whereas I don't think Spade is insane at all (or you know, at least not anywhere near to the extent that Byakuran was XD); he's just a terrible, terrible person who likes screwing people over for the lulz. Either that or whatever stupid grudge he seems to bear against Giotto is even more ridiculous and unfounded than I previously thought that Enma's grudge against Tsuna was. XD

AND CHROME! You know, what will really piss me off even more about that is if, now that she is a mind-controlled zombie, all of a sudden she starts acting like a badass now. Because ( ... )

FFFFF... TL/DR derpmaid December 12 2010, 04:32:40 UTC
I did, actually~ ♥ A friend from Australia had come to visit me so we sat around in my (incredibly small) apartment and just hung out! It was fun! My birthday was "properly" celebrated on the Saturday before my birthday. It was for everyone born in November, and they sang happy birthday and we got to blow out candles on desserts and everything. XD (One of the birthday babies was french, we ended up wishing each other a happy birthday with their kiss kiss on the cheeks thingy. In front of everyone. I don't even know the guy! XD) Also, I've just realised that I've forgotten when your birthday is and if I remembered to wish you a happy one... fffff.

Yeah, Byakuran was a nutcase of epic porportions. He probably always were, a little sociopath who then got a way to use his crazy for fun world domination. What really strikes me as a plothole now that I think about it is the boxes. The reason they worked in that future was because Byakuran had brought over technology from another Univers. So technically... THE BOXES SHOULDN'T EXIST IN THE ( ... )

You're welcome! I hope you had a great day. ♥

And yeah, my emotions have definitely been taken a metaphorical beating. I OPEN MY HEART TO A MANGA, LEAVE MYSELF VULNERABLE, AND WHAT DO I GET? *sobs*

And yeah, it really kills me that this entire thing was orchestrated by this one superdickish guy. I'm not sure whether that's better or worse than it just being a misunderstanding. On the one hand, it makes me want to smack my forehead a little bit less (it's a small comfort to know that even if Tsuna had gotten the letter and met Enma at the abandoned plot lot, Spade would most likely have figured out some other way to turn the two of them against each other), but on the other, I now have a target to direct my rage at and I am finding that I have a lot of it! Spade had better get his, that's all I'm gonna say ( ... )
