How funny that verbicide posted a food meme when all morning I've been focused on food. My mom turned me on to a food website and I'm totally hooked: Epicurious is the best. Sign of the times...
Four people were layed off at my work today. I was not one of them. Thank God. That, more than anything, is a sign of the times for me. I know. There are signs of the times kicking us in the teeth every day, but this my every day life. This feels a lot more real than the mortgage crisis and the tanking markets. I feel happy today. The simple, conent kind of happy that comes with having a full, rich life. I haven't felt this way in a while. It feels good. -

I had big plans for today. I really need to catch up on LJ. At least reading posts. I also have a post to make on the new book community. I have things to post about life in general, and I have tons of posts to read and comment on. I'm missing a lot of cool stuff at the moment. But instead, today, I'm sick. I feel awful. BPA issues
I'm sure you've all heard about the issues surrounding BPA in water bottles etc. We are replacing things like our Nalgene bottles with safer products. We got new water bottles a couple weeks ago.
