How funny that verbicide posted a food meme when all morning I've been focused on food. My mom turned me on to a food website and I'm totally hooked: Epicurious is the best. We've tried a few recipes and all of them have been really good, and totally different from what we usually eat. I'm looking for tonight's recipe now, and think I found it... Anyway, on the food theme:
1) The last food you ate: half a doughnut (I hate when people bring snacks to work)
2) Name one fruit in your house right now: nectarines
3) Yesterday for breakfast? Odwalla granola bar (my first one ever, not sure how I feel about them yet)
4) What's your favorite, special 'almost better than sex' food? steak with morel mushroom sauce
5) List one vegetable you have on hand right now: carrots
6) What was the last GOOD restaurant you ate at? foodwise? We ate at Morton's a couple weeks ago. The food was good, but overall it's kind of overrated.
7) What was the last BAD restaurant you ate at? The last inedible "food" I remember getting from a restaurant was from the Chinese place in Sheridan, WY. Dog food is better than that. I know, I've tasted it.
8) Name a people-food you feed your pet(s): Artemis and Loki stick to cat food. Although they like playing with grapes and strawberries.
9) What is your favorite meat (or meat-substitute)? depending on my mood, beef or chicken.
10) What's the last 'junk food' or unhealthy food you ate? this mornings doughnut
11) List five things in your freezer right now: strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, chicken breast, pesto
12) Favourite pizza topping(s)? sausage, olive and tomato
13) Is there a food that makes you sick, or you're allergic to? nope. I'll try almost anything. Can't think of anything I find truly revolting.
14) Chocolate? yes!
15) Coffee, tea, or hot cocoa? all three. It really depends on my mood.
16) What's the last 'healthy' food you ate? most of what I eat is healthy
17) Favourite kind of cookie? birwulf 's brown sugar brownies (aka pan cookies)
18) Favourite flavour of Ice Cream? Ben & Jerry's Americone Dream
19) Something in your cupboards: mice (just kidding!! that struck me as really funny). Really though: baking chocolate.
