Sign of the times...
Four people were layed off at my work today. I was not one of them. Thank God. That, more than anything, is a sign of the times for me. I know. There are signs of the times kicking us in the teeth every day, but this my every day life. This feels a lot more real than the mortgage crisis and the tanking markets. These were people I saw every day. And I work for a company that prides itself on keeping people employed, even when times are hard. The fact that they layed off four people today scares the crap out of me.
