Now that I'm moving into the digital age with my new TV, I can abandon the analogue aerial. Anyone know any good ways of recovering files from a corrupted USB key? It seems to have become corrupted during a power surge or incomplete 'Safely Remove Hardware' process - and it means that I may have lost fifty pages of a story I've been working on, among sundry other files ( Read more... )

I finished the first draft of my dissertation yesterday. It's 12,000 words or so, which 20% longer than necessary, and I still haven't done the literature review or executive summary (although, correct me if I'm wrong, but that doesn't count towards the word total, right?) but it's as good as it'll get without my advisor's, well, advice ( Read more... )
