Strictly speaking, she should have been waiting tables, but she is conspicuously Not There.
She headed out to do her shift, had kissed Ryan and David good bye and left to go downstairs.
However, the lack of Elaine in the bar might lead one to think that she had gotten sidetracked. -

Elaine was very glad she’d been in the bar and had seen Spike come down to the bar, looking a little distressed. Elaine comes into the flat, her gown covered in blood, blood under her fingernails and smeared across her forehead. She's beginning to shake with reaction, not wanting to think about the fight that Spike must have been in to get that many injuries.

Elaine lay very still as Ryan slept, her eyes closed as she listened to him.

Elaine has put the dinner dishes away, she's put David to bed, and has picked toys up in the livingroom, and is settling down on the couch at the end of the day, with her feet tucked beneath her, holding a glass of white wine ( Read more... ) -

Elaine has spent about an hour working on her swordplay. She's out by the lake, working out, concentrating.
