Mixed vegetables and shrimp paste fried chicken
This was just based on the general idea of shrimp paste fried chicken. I added plain yogurt to the marinade (original recipe I based on just used water to dilute the marinade) because I just love how tender and moist the resulting cooked chicken is when marinated in yogurt ( Read more... ) -
Oh, hey. Learned new things about lactose intolerance.
Lactose intolerance is a common inherited condition in which a person's gut loses, after childhood, its ability to digest the milk sugar called lactose. The sugary molecules float around undigested in the intestine, ferment, and create a gassy havoc. The effect is somewhat like eating any other indigestible carbohydrate, such as cardboard or grass.
