I didn’t do much today. I slept in until 8:30, read some of my Mekong River Trip reader, went to lunch with the extended family (Ayi’s side this time), and then we drove back to Beijing. Today I went to world market and got to have some fun. The sales guy flirted with me, which made me feel all happy inside, and they had all kinds of imported Christmas candy on sale. Yesterday Meredith and I went shopping for back to school stuff. We didn't do any major shopping, just a little bit, so i still have a ways to go before I'm ready to go back to school. Yesterday Mom, Laura,and I all went down to LaGrange to hang out at the MS150 with the biker people. When we were little mom use to take us and we had to go to bed early, but we never really understood why (by little i mean 5 years ago or so). We went to the Deer Park Debate tournament yesterday. I was silly and didn't wake up in time to make it to teh bus today... I was just a bit tired. We only had about 7 people at the tournament and only 5 people compeeting as compared to Lake which brought 40 kids.
