I am officially employed! I have a place and a time and all kinds of other things and it makes me happy!

Today I had to go to a training session that the Student Employment Office was putting on. My boss requires that we attend one class every semester, so that we are continuing our customer service education... Or something. I went to an informational about jobs with the State Department today. Unfortunately the presentation focused on the Foreign Service, and managed to cement my thoughts that the Foreign Service is not for me. Not now at least, and not in the foreseeable future. Went away, came back, got a raise and a promotion. I should go to China more often!
