Oh, these are lovely and so very real. Your dialogue is so excellent; I'm jealous. *shakes head* And I really need to read your Alignments arc, if it's all written like this. I promise I'll get around to it after exams; it's at the top of my list. ;) Once I finish exams, I promise -- it's at the top of my list. :)

So glad you enjoyed! Alignments is, fortunately and unfortunately, much like this, with many of the same good points and many similar faults. (Length being one!) But if it helps you get through exams, you can always request your own outtake, and I will try to reward your success with fic... Thanks for reading and commenting! Maggie

Ooh, that's certainly incentive to get through them all. If I'm alive by the twenty-sixth -- that's when they end -- I may just take you up on that offer... ♥

Anything to help others survive the academic process! Too bad we can't get our degrees in fanfic. (smile) M.

This feels so real. I mean, it just plays out so well. You make your characters seem real. I enjoy everyday scenes like these with the boys. I like them living normally like the rest of us.

Especially liked the bathroom scene and the final scene, oh, and the one w/Remus looking under the couch--it's just, just such a common thing to do when getting ready to leave. I don't know, I just enjoyed it. Nice work.

Happy to hear the ordinariness worked for you! I'm such a fan of everyday-ness and not-much-action, so it's a bit of a relief to discover you are, too. (Spells and magical creatures and epic fights of good against evil? Nah...)

Thanks so much for the comment! Maggie

I really liked this. It makes such sense for Remus's parents to be loving but overbearing, and for him to struggle with the pressures they put on him and not want to disappoint them. The Muggle supermarket was a nice touch. As were Sirius's socks.

So happy to hear these things worked for you. I've never been convinced that Remus had an untroubled relationship with his parents, so I had a good time imagining how it might have been otherwise. Thanks for continuing to read about these characters! The Other Maggie

Everyone else has been talking about the realism and the characterisation and everything else that was good in this fic, but I just want to chuck in my belated hat and go 'awwwwww!'

Because I feel all fuzzy inside after reading this, the dynamic between the two was just lovely, and I like the little images you built up.

Highly enjoyable =D

Thank you! This is my belated apology for so few warm and fuzzy moments in the original story. (Though clearly even now warm and fuzzy and I don't get along all that well. (sheepish smile) But I tried!)

Thanks for continuing to read and comment! Maggie

Wow Maggie, this is soo good!! It's perfect. Slices of life from the pups...ooh, I love it!! I will be putting it in favorites for sure.

I love your Sirius, I love how he is just smitten. I love how he stalks Remus. Apparating into the supermarket is just so Sirius! Lovely.

Thank you so, so much, this is perfect. I feel all warm and glow-ey.

Thank *you* so much for struggling through a zillion installments and always thinking of something positive and cheerful to say! You're the best! As you can tell, it was hard for me to step out of usual gloom and doom, but I'm glad you enjoyed this bit of (occasionally warm and fuzzy) R/S. Maggie

Pshaw darlin! There was no struggling involved, I love your writing, and your characterizations of the all the characters are excellent!!

Besides, it's not everyday you get a fic just for enjoying a story. Thanks again! :D

*snuggles you*
