Every year our unit has an entire week dedicated to honoring the unit, it's past and it's future. (And while I am at it... THANK YOU to all of our brothers and sisters in arms who have or continue to defend our freedoms!) It is a week full of events, memorials, formals, etc... Wow. Jim really *looks* soused!

DJ would be infinitely cuter if you could see his face, but the hat does have a cool factor of 8.

Sounds like tons of fun to be had. *smiles* Wish I coulda seen it. Do you have any pictures from the formal yet? Of you in the dress with the funky new hairstyle and tattoos in full technicolor glory?

Yeah it was fun and a total drunk fest! BAH! DJ was giving me -TUDE all day so not seeing his face was probably a good thing... Goddess only knows what he was doing under that hat (directed at me). LOL!

I just wish there was pictures of me!

If you were even half as drunk as Jim looks, I'm impressed that you managed to center the camera.

Well I was pretty soused at the formal I guess... but that was at the end of the evening. I get drunk off of two glasses of wine or one really hard drink, alas... the effects only last about 30-45 minutes and then I am fine. It sucks that my digestive system works that fast sometimes! LOL!

Now the picinic... that was an all day thing... in my moments of soberness I was able to take pictures... when I was all happy wino... I didn't care less about the dang camera... I was all ito "Talking ink and bikes" the rest of the time. BAH! Of course at one point I was "happy enough" to explain to one of the wives in the section that I was bi and my husband let me have girlfriends... OMG!!!! IT is a really good thing we are leaving.. not sure what the guys are gonna say to him comes Tuesday! BAH!
