Not that I really know which season we're in half the time anyway; I've had so many of them this year.
Still working far too hard in what was only supposed to be a temporary position. Will be evaluating my job prospects at the end of the month, because...

Today marks exactly one month since I started my 'new job'. Well, I say new job very loosely because it's actually sort of my old job, only working on a different project, and this time I'm temping rather than under any illusions that I'm there permanently. Travel things and possibilities
I'm finding it difficult to believe I'm leaving New Zealand in one week from monday. I can barely remember the flight here, it was so long ago, so it feels like I've been here forever. I went on a Lord of the Rings tour of Wellington today. It was easily one of the geekiest, funniest, funnest and *best* things I have done in this beautiful country. Jailbreak!!

Happy New Year everybody!
Thank you for all the lovely comments left about my Grandma's passing. The funeral was to be on New Years Eve in the UK. I spoke to my Mum at midnight (New Year), which was 11am in the UK and about an hour before it was due to start. Hopefully everything went as planned.
I hope you've all had a wonderful festive period. -
Not quite a fish
Today I swam in the Pacific Ocean for the first time since I was in California in 2004. It was fun. It was also the first time I've swam in a large body of water (with the exception of when I've been snorkellin), since I was in Thailand.
What I'm saying is that today was good.
