One would think that perhaps one would feel a little different when they are a whole year older than before. After all, birthdays only come once a year, it only seems sensible that they should feel notably altered after precisely 364 days have passed.

I don't feel any different.

It is somewhat disappointing.

Oh, that is a shame. I hope one day I shall feel changed though. It seems awfully dull to get older and then never feel any different. I hope the same will happen to you! It is exciting I should think, to grow.

I don't like people makin' a big deal out of me. I'm sure it'll happen sooner or later...I guess I feel more mentally changed then physically changed, though the mentally changed happens over a period of time.

Oh, I am 14 today. Not a very trifling age I suppose, I imagine not feeling any different physically or mentally is normal. I will just have to be patient until the time comes when I do feel altered.
