Twelfth~

One would think that perhaps one would feel a little different when they are a whole year older than before. After all, birthdays only come once a year, it only seems sensible that they should feel notably altered after precisely 364 days have passed.

I don't feel any different.

It is somewhat disappointing.

((La! Alice is 14 today! :D))

Birthdays and age are not that important.

They aren't? But I thought the older one got the more...responsibility was laid upon them. This makes aging somewhat important, doesn't it? And as for birthdays...I imagine they are there to just make it more fun to get older but I suppose I could be wrong.

I don't think birthdays get all that significant until you reach your thirties or so. Happy birthday, nonetheless!

...That is a very long time to wait to feel any different. *forlorn sigh* Ah well, I suppose I can be patient.

Everyone should receive well-wishes on their birthday! It marks an important time of growth and potential, and a good opportunity to take stock of how far you've come in a year! *thumbs-up*
