Yes, I have a date to the ball. Now I just have to decide on a costume. I was thinking maybe we could go as vegetables, but maybe that's because it's 1:00 in the bleeding morning and I'm alive solely on the basis of vast amounts of coffee. Suggestions would be welcome.

I'm exhausted so this will be a short entry.

The bottom line is I guess I have a date to the ball.

I asked Padma if she wanted to the ball, and she said "I suppose so."

Why does that still not sound good?

Well. I'm actually almost positive I don't have a date to the ball. Padma disappeared and won't talk to me. First her journal went away, then she won't return my owl, and overall I'm just getting a very reluctant feeling from her. So as it stands right now, Lee Jordan is completely single. Any takers?

Got an owl from Padma today. Very frustrating bird. I'm not sure if I'm talking about the owl or Padma at this point. Firstly, she must have grabbed the most overactive barn owl I've ever seen. Bloody hell was this a weekend to forget. Firstly, missed the school's Hogsmeade visit--me mum sent me a last-minute owl and I had to run to St. Mungo's to see dear old Dad, who somehow managed to hex himself stupid for a few hours while fixing the plumbing. Whew, so I feel like a complete limey bastard. Fred's gone all barmy, and even though I didn't make Angelina write that letter, my bringing her up probably didn't help matters much at all.
