So, I have discovered that there is no way in hell that I will be done all my assignments for Software Engineering in time to hand them in. Thusly, what do i do? I surf the net instead of working on them. I totally suck.

I have two weeks left of school, and seemingly 5 weeks left of schoolwork to do before exams. I don't know if I'm going to make it or not!

I have 4 programming courses this term, plus computational theory and professional ethics. Which means 4 programming assignments per week. This makes me officially my computer's bitch. I feel dirty! I wonder if it's possible that this might actually convince me to post to lj more often. I hope so, it's a good way to stay in touch. Cross

So, school was cancelled for the kidlets yesterday. Of course, university was not, so I wound up missing my first day of classes. Sigh. And this morning it looks like I've gotten the flu. This is not the best start to a term I've ever had. Really.

With the tiny little break I get between terms, and the kids away for little bunches of time, I've had some time to think about some stuff. And after a faaaar too short visit with some folks who were quite literally my absolute closest friends a dozen or so years ago, I came to a very scary realization.
