Jeremy Renner, yay!

So, I finally rented "Mission:Impossible Ghost Protocol." Hands down, the best thing about the movie was Jeremy Renner. He was awesome. Forget Tom Cruise, let's have the next MI movie be all about him. LOL.

On a related note, I wish my mood theme had one for "obsessed." Heh.

I'm not sure if I liked him better as a possibly nerdy analyst in over his head or when we found out he could kick some serious butt.

I watched MI3 when I found out about Renner being in MI4 in case I got confused. Good thing, I did.

And, yes, he was the BEST!

I have seen the others, so I'm probably not the best judge. But I think you'll be fine. Cruise's character is the only one from the other movies that I can remember, except for a couple cameos at the end.

And Jeremy Renner!!! Is. Awesome. Did I mention that? He's so .... eeee! You just need to see it.

I hadn't seen any of the others and I followed it just fine. Totally worth it for everyone else on the team, and even Cruise is tolerable when he's interacting with them. The big long solo action scene with him and the baddie was fast forward material, though.

I just watched it last night finally and OMG. I can't believe I liked a Tom Cruise movie that much, but I did. Also: Simon Pegg! <3

I know! The scene with "but I'll catch you!" was one of my faves. (urgh, LJ, stop changing "faves" to "faces" please.)

I may have to watch it one more time before it goes back. At least parts of it.
