That's an online directory. I'm currently looking in minneapolis, but it allowed me to see reviews of plastic surgeons, what procedures they specialized in, and in some cases, photos of the work done posted online by users. Might be helpful for you. They also have message boards dedicated to certain procedures where you can talk with people and find out what the outcome was. For Madison, only 2 reviews, but it might be a start.
I feel like Madison is not a big enough city that the surgeons here would have an overabundance of experience as compared to plastic surgeons in bigger cities...good on you for looking in MSP!
i can't provide any recommendations except to mention there are some of us guys out there that think small chests are AWESOME. hope you're not being pressured into this. just sayin' :)
Honestly...it might be best and actually cheaper to look towards surgeons in Miami or Los Angeles. It seems like some of the work I've seen, whether it be boob jobs or other plastic surgery procedures, done in the midwest has been...shoddy. And when I was comparing prices for something I was pondering getting done, it looked to be cheaper to fly back home to Miami than go with a local surgeon, and the procedure was a grand cheaper at the place in Miami where I *knew* they did good work. (I ended up not going through with it & it wasn't a boob job, but I just remember it being cheaper to go back home after a lil research.)
Actually my boyfriend told me about a site called myfreeimplants.com where people donate towards your surgery so I wont be paying for it at all...besides the consults.
Yeah, it might sound weird but hell... if its out there, why not use it! The down side is for some people it does take a while to get up all the donations but I think if I stick with it the rewards will be great...and squishy... :P
Well, no matter who pays for it -- the cost is still yours in time spent waiting to achieve the final dollar amount, right? Thus if it's cheaper at one shop, you get 'em sooner!
I commented to someone below about quality -- read that. And also keep in mind...these websites where they show off tit jobs...remember to think of it like a tattoo artists portfolio. A tattoo artist isn't going to put in examples of times they fucked up. Same with a surgeon. If you investigate & it turns out to be best to stay in town (cuz thats certainly the most convinient), do yourself a favor...get the word-of-mouth "okay" from clients. There are two comments in this entry recommending one shop in town that does good work -- one commenter says they work there, another is anon. Maybe post something on CL asking for folk who got implants in town to give a req.
UW Health has a plastic surgery clinic out in Middleton on Deming Way, just off the Beltline (giant building with Transformations on it).
Don't really have any recommendations for docs, unfortunately, but I work for the hospital, with people who deal with our physicians on a regular basis. I haven't heard a bad word about the docs listed for breast augmentation. Best of luck!
transformations....uw health. these doctors have as much experience as "LA and Miami" doctors but they won't make you 'hollywood' large. are you people serious? augmentation isn't rocket science. doctors in this town are just as good, and honest as well. good luck. i'm sure you'll find what you're looking for. try dr. parfitt too.
I agree -- augmentation -isn't- rocket science, but from the tits -I've- seen, it seems the doctors around these parts have a problem placing the areola/nipples back in a believable spot
