Honestly...it might be best and actually cheaper to look towards surgeons in Miami or Los Angeles. It seems like some of the work I've seen, whether it be boob jobs or other plastic surgery procedures, done in the midwest has been...shoddy. And when I was comparing prices for something I was pondering getting done, it looked to be cheaper to fly back home to Miami than go with a local surgeon, and the procedure was a grand cheaper at the place in Miami where I *knew* they did good work. (I ended up not going through with it & it wasn't a boob job, but I just remember it being cheaper to go back home after a lil research.)

Plus you'd get a vacation out of the deal *grin*

Good luck on your hunt for the perfect surgeon!!

Thanks!

Actually my boyfriend told me about a site called myfreeimplants.com where people donate towards your surgery so I wont be paying for it at all...besides the consults.

Yeah, it might sound weird but hell... if its out there, why not use it!
The down side is for some people it does take a while to get up all the donations but I think if I stick with it the rewards will be great...and squishy... :P

Well, no matter who pays for it -- the cost is still yours in time spent waiting to achieve the final dollar amount, right? Thus if it's cheaper at one shop, you get 'em sooner!

I commented to someone below about quality -- read that. And also keep in mind...these websites where they show off tit jobs...remember to think of it like a tattoo artists portfolio. A tattoo artist isn't going to put in examples of times they fucked up. Same with a surgeon. If you investigate & it turns out to be best to stay in town (cuz thats certainly the most convinient), do yourself a favor...get the word-of-mouth "okay" from clients. There are two comments in this entry recommending one shop in town that does good work -- one commenter says they work there, another is anon. Maybe post something on CL asking for folk who got implants in town to give a req.

You know, I heard about that website from watching a BBC show (called, fittingly enough, 'My Small Breasts and I')

Good luck with that! It sounded nifty!
