The reason I've been away from LJ for a while is because my sisters finally convinced me to get a Facebook account. I've been trying to figure out how that works. Also, school had been a really bummer resently. Huge amounts of homework...

Been a bit sick lately. I think it might have something to do with my medication, but my doctor can't see me before December ;_; I guess I'll just have to hang on until then. I'm going to post a fairly unusual opinion here, and claim that Twilight the Movie is better than Twilight the book. Why? Because today I made my first attempt at reading the book, and while I can't say it's the worst thing ever, the thing kind of reads like a self-insert fanfiction. I really need a job. Usually I work during the summer, which means I can just concentrate on my studies during the winter months, but this year I didn't get a job, so know I'm broke. I've applied for a couple of places, but with the depression and unemployment rising I won't probably even get an interview, since there are many people more qualified ( Read more... )

My Grandfather has died. Drowned. Apparently he was fishing and had a sudden seizure or something, although they are not quite sure yet. I'm still trying to process the information. I think I'm going to be really sad soon, but right now I just can't believe it's true.

Both me and my sisters are sick. We don't know yet if it's swineflu or not, since our cousin had a suspected case just recently. Nevertheless, it doesn't look too bad right now, so if it is The Virus it's likely not a bad case. However, in my case all this misery is combined with my period, so I'm in Pain City right now.
