It has been busy summer. Have been home in Plzen for almost two months. It is nice here and is always nice to just walk through town and just be Martin. Have spent time with family which is always fun and went to many World Cup games at the local bars. It is much more fun to watch with a group of futbol fans I think ( Read more... )

There really are no words. Yes of course gold was goal but celebration with bronze? Not such a bad thing either. It was well and good for Czech and I am happy now. Soon we will be back in New York and things will be interesting.

Happiness is a good thing

It is weird now to think of Mario being retired. He was such an important leader and teammate during my years in Pittsburgh, and he remains a friend still today. I always did like New York as a city, I guess I will get to see it up close now. It was a good decision to leave LA. I wish Kovy would have still been playing but he is happy in Montreal. Plzen is so nice. Even playing here this year, this is still the best time of the year around the city. I meant to go and travel, but suddenly things have gotten so busy.
