Hee, I'm glad you enjoyed Kanoko so much! *^^*

I really liked the final volume, and also, Tsubaki grew on me more with each volume. I hope everyone else likes how it ends. (And getting the sequel would be awesome.)

I can't wait for volume 3 then! I like Tsubaki better now too-in the beginning he seemed like the cool, perfect type (like Usui in Maid Sama!, who sometimes gets on my nerves). But he's getting to be more and more fun (and more and more sympathetic, thanks to Kanoko's clueless-and-careless attitude).

Nothing happens! *incoherent babbling!* The flashback is over after two chapters, and then bam! Love confession! Scene where two characters finally call each other by their first names (when I first read 12, I was sure you'd like this volume for that very reason)! They crash a miai! Cross-dressing! Pretty kimonos! Kazuha and Hina!

Nothing happens. Pssh.

(Incidentally, as far as flashbacks are concerned, what if you look at it this way: now that you're in the middle of VBR, wouldn't any reading of I Hate You♥ become a flashback?)

PS: We totally agree about her art style. We much prefer what it looked like in I Hate You♥.

Hahahaha! I like this comment. Okay, yes, the first name scene was really great (and when they showed up at VBR and everyone was shocked! at the use of first-names!! I loved that :D). And the confession was very sweet. And of course I squealed when I saw Kazuha and Hina. I guess I thought the miai-crashing was a little silly and contrived (even though it was an excuse for lovely kimono AND glasses-disguises)... and the "more" I wanted to happen was in reference to actual work being done. I like that VBR is a workplace-manga that actually has the characters working (usually). I want more dress-making ( ... )

Ren's bday is feb 10th - I think it said on the calendar on the last page.

I'm still curious about Oresama, even after reading the first volume-from what I've seen of later covers it just keeps getting zanier and adding more and more characters. One chapter I read in the Japanese magazine had Mafuyu and Hayasaka learning ninja-techniques from another guy (who wore glasses, if I recall correctly :D). It's weird. But lots of fun!!

Re: Ren's bday-haha, is that in response to my comment on Sean's blog? I didn't mention it at all here! But if it's the 10th (I looked back and found the calendar, you're right) then maybe Kyoko's line was supposed to be "Nine... [self-corrected to]... tenth?" rather than "nineteenth?" Or was she actually thinking it was on the 19th, and those other two girls are correcting her on the last two pages? Oh, maybe that's it. Heh, shows what I get for overthinking things...

"... my comment on Sean's blog?"
yeah, I didn't have my js enabled - so I thought I said it here :)
Kyoko thought it was the 19th ... If she had thought it was the 9th, she would have a present for him already :) poor Ren, the path of thorns ;)
