Thanks :D Yeah, it's true it could've been much worse. Just some scrapes on my hands and elbow, nothing I can't recover from! I've learned my lesson-no more high-speed bike racing with my brother!!
"11 bandaids on all my scrapes! ... It was exciting for both of us ..." Ouch. I never thought of putting bandaids on is exciting! That's scary. I'm glad you're ok. I hope the scrapes won't sting too much.
"That's kind of a pity, but he's just boring." You mean Shindo? I think Kenshi (the younger brother from the Japanese sweet shop) is so cute :) I like him, the poor soul.
Is it weird to like putting on bandaids? I always felt kinda special when I got to wear one when I was little-it meant my injury wasn't just some trifling bruise or papercut, and people could see I'd been hurt but was bravely surviving it! Or something (things just seem like a bigger deal as a kid). Now I feel a little bit like Mitsuru from Portrait of M&N :D
Yeah, that's who I meant. I wouldn't mind if someone else turned into the love interest, but I'm expecting the series'll be pretty straightforward there. Hehehe, Kenshi! I like him too. Ahahah. Poor kid. (all the more reason I'm glad of how the accent was conveyed-if it'd been annoying, I would have disliked him unfairly and that would be sad).
I'm sorry for not liking Shindo... I usually at least try to like the lead guys too, for the sake of my own happiness if nothing else. (Natsume in GakuAli is an exception, but unlike Shindo I do have at least stronger feelings about his character). But the lack of emotion makes it hard for me to relate to him at all. Maybe this'll change eventually...
Too bad about that reviewer. But the accent/dialect was really nicely done, so I wanted to acknowledge that!!
Aww, "love happenings" is a funny way of putting it! But the line it got changed to also made me laugh. Sometimes I wish I could see how much gets changed between the translation and the adaption stage. Maybe you'll have other chances to use "love happenings" in future translations!
And oh, you're right (of course you are!) about Sou and Kenshi. I'm sorry!! I meant Sou. Right. I'll try to remember characters' names better next time!
