So I managed to cajole my way into DJing a goth-themed dance in Second Life next Friday. This is the weekend I will devote to building the playlist for it. I have about two hours to cover and I have a rep for keeping to theme to maintain. The kicker? I really don't know the genre that well, or if I know the bands, I don't always know they're goth.

Oh, and one of the local clubs here always shuts down their goth dance night with "The Time Warp." (I once slipped ouranaphobe, who was dj'ing at the time, a cover of the song by Alvin and the Chipmunks. To say it broke brains was to damn with faint praise... :) :) :)

Oh, see if you can find the version of "Under the Milky Way" by Seven Nations, or barring that, The Church... bagpipes as a rock instrument, FTW (the 7N version)...
