Little Things
This morning it's the little things: it's the silence of a restful morning, it's the bit of orange juice that remains in my glass, and the last piece of sliced sausage in my bowl of spaghetti noodles and onion-less sauce that is making me happy. I'm happy to be home, clean, and alive. -
Schoolwork and Such
One of the teachers from my school brought a huge crate of work for me to grade, work that I expected my students to complete during my sick leave. And most of the students did deliver, I must say. I'm too tired to write. The urge to take a nap is strong and the lopsided bed behind me with its fluffysoft comforter is calling me and so, too, are the cool black sheets I know my bare legs will enjoy.
