Back Pain

I'm thoroughly enjoying this bepickled cheeseburger I got from Sonic, mmm, and the cheese sticks as I type.

Ever since spring break, which was 3 months ago, I've been waking up around the same time every morning with back pain. The pain is mostly in my lower back, in the lowermost curvature. I see a chiropractor once a month for maintenance, but now that I'm experiencing a regular pain on a daily basis, I go twice a week now for four injections in my back (small diabetic needles that feel like little pinches and beestings) as well as the routine exercises and adjustments. It was nice to hear the doctor confirm that dancing is a good thing for me and that the pain might be worse if I wasn't participating in dance, but I really wonder why this is happening all of a sudden.

The pain goes away as if nothing even happened after a few hours and my getting out of bed.

I used to be a champion sleeper and now these pains are ruining my summer sleeping record.

I wonder about those side sleeper pillows. Our mattress is almost one year old and was chosen for its firmness. Of course, we do use a featherbed on top of the mattress and even tried sleeping without it. My back did feel a little better 2 of those 4 mornings around the end of that week, but I thought that might be due to the injections working their magic. I've tried sleeping a variety of ways, propping my leg on pillows or under my knees, adjusting the pillows by firmness and number beneath my head.....not sure what else to do. I perform certain exercises before I go to sleep and when I wake up. I'm sure all the time on the computer sitting at this chair isn't helping, of course...
