Why I like them: Because she’s a hero, but that’s not all she is. She’s also human, a girl trying to grow up and become a woman, a woman trying to live her life and do it well. Because she has puns and quips for every monster she meets. Because she’s died twice, but she still keeps fighting. Why I don’t: This question is hard…Buffy’s not my favorite character but I do love her, flaws and all, so I don’t really know. She can be selfish and judgmental and she can easily slip into that “I know best because I’m the Slayer” mode, but all those things just make her a human, flawed character, and in my opinion its more of a reason to like her. Favorite episode: Becoming (Part 2). I love that this is Buffy all on her own, relying on basically just herself as everything else crumbles, but in the end, she’s the only thing she needs to win the fight. I also love that winning comes at such high a cost for her, but she does it anyways. And then she runs away, because it was the right thing to do

Why I like them: Oz might actually be my favorite strictly Buffyverse character. He’s this wonderfully calm, sarcastic, romantic character, whose also this huge contradiction because while he’s all of these things, he’s also a werewolf with all this inner rage and jealousy and anger boiling under the surface. He’s quite possibly the sweetest boy in Sunnydale (the type of boy who notices the girl dressed up like an Eskimo standing alone and can’t look away), but is also a monster. And I just love that. Why I don’t: Not enough of him. Why’d you have to leave Oz? Why’d you have to leave? Favorite episode: Phases. We didn’t get a lot of Oz specific episodes, so in trying to find ones that focused more on him its hard. But I just love his reaction to the whole werewolf thing. Probably the calmest reaction ever and its awesome. Favorite scene: The scene in “Choices”, you know the one that probably gets talked about a lot, where he smashes the pot and decides for them that Willow is the only thing that matters. I just love that in a

Why I like them: Because he’s Giles. Because he’s stuffy and so wonderfully British and he thinks books are better than everything, but he still thinks people are what’s most important. Because he loves Buffy because she won’t do anything she thinks falls into a grey area, but he’ll do it for her, because he knows it has to be done. And he’s handsome in that bookish older kind of way and I did it. (Anthony Head is handsome man, its not my fault.) Why I don’t: I get mad at him every time I watch “A Hole in the World”, which is Angel’s show and doesn’t involve his character mostly, but Fred was dying and he wasn’t willing to help, and well, I love Fred. So I hold it against him, even if maybe I shouldn’t. Favorite episode: Band Candy. I just, how could I not? Favorite scene: When he kills Ben in “The Gift” because it just, its says so much about who he is. He isn’t the hero of this story and he’s not the wizard standing on the sidelines guiding the king. He’s the Watcher, he’s the adult, he’s the one who does what must be done

Why I like them: Because she’s Chloe, really that’s the best explanation I’ve got. I’ve just loved her from day one. So wonderfully smart and interested in knowing things, in knowing the truth even if it hurts, loyal to a fault, willing to do whatever it takes to get things done. She’s pretty and adventurous and once upon a time she was trusting, but then she got burned (time after time) and that lessened over time. And I like that she grew in good ways and she grew in bad ways, that life took its toll. I like that she’s a hero in her own right, who will never claim to be a hero, because she doesn’t think herself worthy of the word. I like that fought for her dream to be journalist, tooth and nail, and then tried new things, only to go back to it because she realized her dreams were important too. I like that her life went so far off the plan she originally had, but she forged a new path, one she was always in control of. I just like everything about her, and will never understand people who don’t like her even a little. (I don’t

Part 2 (Cause I'm apparently full of Chloe thoughts)
Favorite line: “You know, I always wondered. For a boy who has all the money in the world, you'd think he could afford a good toupee.” Favorite outfit: I don’t know if I really have a favorite. But I loved her in a good pencil skirt in heels, so I guess anytime she was wearing those. OTP: First OTP was Chloe/Lex and I’ll always be loyal to them, but it ended up being Chloe/Oliver. Which was endgame, which never happens to my ships, which kind of makes them my OTP of OTPs. Brotp: Chlo-Lo. Head Canon: Part of the reason she and Tess were always so at odds, was because Chloe always saw too much of herself in her (and vice versa), saw how easily that could have been her. She had been in the Luthor’s hold, had fallen for their charm, and had thought she could never escape. She had been that woman, making questionable decisions because she thought she had all the answers, who had had men burn her and use her up. She had been in all those same places and ended up changed. It took her a

The first episode I ever watched was during season 1. I saw Lex, was intrigued by him and that's what made pulled me in. Then I met Chloe...and that was it. Like you, I fell in love with her from day one. I rewatched the first few seasons awhile ago and I was surprised by how little screen time she had. And it just made me think that, despite how much time she had, it was still that easy to love her.
I could write a huge meta on this and the Davis arc on its own.
If you're ever bored and have some time, I would love, love to hear what you thought of the Davis arc. I feel that everything you've said is exactly how I feel...you've just put it in much better words than I would be able to.
Favorite scene: Basically any scene with her and Lionel or Lex.Me too. Season 3 is still one of my favorites because of her arc with the Luthors. There was something amazing in her scenes with them. One of

Why I like them: Because she’s so wonderfully Caroline. Because her life was irrevocably changed the moment she laid eyes on Damon on the pilot and just kept changing and getting worse, to the point where her own murder started seeming less bad in comparison to her father trying to fix her with torture under Mystic Falls, and a thousand year old hybrid decided for her that they were meant to be together. And yet, Caroline still believes in good, she still believes in her friends, still believes that they can win at the end of the day, still believes that things like prom and graduation and slumber parties matter because they are still the people they always were. Because she is so incredibly forgiving and open to those around her, because she wants to be forgiven herself. Because she never wanted to die but she likes being a vampire, likes the power and strength that comes with it, likes the way that people react to her now, likes the way that she can demand respect in a way she couldn’t before. Because she’s honest even if it hurts

OTP: Caroline/Stefan (But I ship a lot of Caroline ships. I ship practically all the Caroline ships, even the ones that don’t make sense to anyone that isn’t me.) Ultimately its probably Caroline/Happiness or Caroline/getting the heck out of MF or Caroline/Never getting tortured again. Brotp: Caroline + Tyler. (Sometimes I ship it, sometimes I don’t. But I always loved it best when it was just the two of them being friends.) Also Caroline and Bonnie and Elena, all the screwed up aspects included.
Head Canon: It took longer for Caroline to fall in love with Tyler than it did for him. After Damon and Matt and all the boys before them, it just seemed so much harder for her. She liked them for what they were, she liked having him as her friend (because she had never had a friend like him before, someone so completely on her side), and then they were something more, but Caroline didn’t know what, and then they were boyfriend and girlfriend and that seemed nice. They were nice. But she was

Anna was unexpected, but I love pretty much all the TVD ladies, so it’s a happy surprise.
Why I like the : I loved that Anna was a really great turn on the normal tropes for a vampire. She was a female character, who was just as strong than the Salvatores and she did stalk Jeremy in order to enact her plan, but fell in love with him along the way. That’s a typical male role in these types of things, but her character was never really criticized for it. It was explained and completely believable. I also love that they set her up as this adorable but dorky, kind of stalkerish, I want a friend and I want it to be you, character, and then completely flipped that on its head when they revealed that she was there to open the tomb too. I love that as human and compassionate as she was (or could be) she was also ruthless, willing to do whatever it took to get what she wanted. And I absolutely LOVE that what she wanted was her mother. That it was all for her mother, it wasn’t romantic love that she was seeking (though she found that too) but

Favorite outfit: I really liked the dress she wore to the Miss Mystic Falls completion.
OTP: Anna/Life, LOL. I really wish they hadn’t killed her off. But in season one I really did love Anna and Jeremy and their relationship and how it mirrored Elena/Stefan in the beginning but was so different at the same time.
Brotp: Their wasn’t a lot of it, but I love the hints we got of Anna and Emily’s relationship, the sly little smiles and obvious secrets they shared, and that it was Emily that saved her from the same fate as her mother, that promised her it would all be okay.
Head Canon: She never liked Katherine, she was her mother’s best friend, but she never treated Anna right, with respect. And once she found out that she wasn’t in the tomb with all the other vampires, it only made her hate her more.
Unpopular opinion: I don’t know if I have one...
A wish: I wish we had gotten more Anna and Katherine scenes, I think their interaction, and how Anna would be one of the few
