A friend of mine posted this on their LJ and it wowed me. As someone who loves to write and draw and has hit that block of crud why I can't find inspiration today, this woman's words are inspiring. So I am going to share it with all of my friends, and pals who are artistic and love to create for the sake of creating itself.

I am in a difficult period of my life right now. My Grandmother who was of a second mother to me passed away recently. She was always my example of what was right and wrong, and taught me kindness gets you farther then other thing you give anyone. So there is this shirt my kids love to wear, they even fight over who gets to wear it. I bought in 1999 Right after the Phantom Menace came out for Davion, then it was almost a dress it was so big on him. Now Sandor wears it and it fits him just fine. I started my day out waking up at 4:30 am this morning to go to work, I got off early and Ian picked me up at 9:00. We came home I showered changed, and then we went and cashed my paycheck so we could go out to lunch together having our first date alone in over 2 months. So I haven't updated since before Easter... I know I am bad. I am a manager at my work now, I get paid more and work some insane hours since we lost a bunch of people. Today Ian took me out on a date, we went to see the movie "The Bank Job" it was a very good movie but I do not recommend it for children. So I have been looking for a new job because my current one is insane. I have worked 9 and half to 10 and a half hours in one day with no breaks at all, now this as we know is highly illegal. I can't be doing this kind of stuff not with my foot still recovering from being broken. My boss is also always calling trying to get me work other peoples ( Read more... )

Well I spent my afternoon in the doctors office today and discovered that I have strep-throat an inner ear infection, a sinus infection, and a hairline fracture in my distal tibia. Today was the first day the swelling in my foot was down enough to find the little crack in the bone. This means I will be wearing that heat form metal cast for a few ( Read more... )
