That's what I thought - it just seems really interesting. .Like, would it just be between soulmates or could you swap souls with anybody? That would change the attitude towards kissing on the lips, I suspect!

It definitely would. I think it would be more interesting if kissing exchanged souls with everyone, even if you weren't soulmates.

That's what I think too. I bet there would have been real taboos about kissing on the lips - can't be casual about soul swapping after all! And then probably in the 60s, someone would have got casual about it and kissing would have been everywhere!

Tha's exactly what I was thinking - if it's just between soulmates, that would be not so bad but if anybody can do it, people would be stealing souls all the time. Can you get them back? Do you end up giving away all your souls or just bits of it? I loooove it, I'm totally writing something with it at some point.
