I am often thinking that I have typecast myself a grief poet. Or that maybe I just am a grief poet, and should be OK with that. I do this (slam) as a personal challenge. The kind that's good for you. It's satisfying that I can get up on stage-- something I never (and I mean it) would have done when I was in my teens and 20s. And I like to share my work and have more people hear it-- though slams are not the only way to do that ( Read more... )

Just posting this mug based on my book FYI because I think it looks nice. Zazzle is a fun site to play with (though too expensive in my opinion if anyone seriously thought they might sell their creations). I made lots of Christmas gifts there for family.
